The gate is an interesting pink color, and the plaque above it lists the date in 1944 when the city was liberated from Nazi Germany. This was the gate I entered the city through for the first time as the bus dropped me of at the Port, which is only 100 metres from gate entrance. Gate has significant history to it and has wonderful detail on the gate, A real treat to see while visiting Kotor.
